California’s The Story So Far returned to Franklin Music Hall on Saturday, October 4, playing to a sold-out crowd that was ready from the first note. The tour package is strong on its own—Neck Deep, Origami Angel, and Pain of Truth each warmed up the room in a different way—so by the time TSSF walked out, the floor was already buzzing.
The band’s set focused on 2024’s I Want To Disappear, with “All This Time,” “Letterman,” and “Big Blind” landing clean and confident. Those new tracks fit comfortably next to longtime favorites from Under Soil and Dirt and What You Don’t See, giving the night a good mix of fresh material and staples fans came to hear.
TSSF’s appeal is still the same: brisk tempos, big choruses, and a direct, unforced connection with the audience. After the long break between albums, this run feels less like a reset and more like a continuation—same identity, sharper execution.
The tour picks up again in Denver on October 7 and wraps at When We Were Young in Las Vegas on October 18. If it’s coming through your city, this is an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys modern pop-punk done with care and energy.
