Twenty One Pilots Closes the 2025 Hersheypark Stadium Concert Series

1 min read

What a way to close out the 2025 summer concert series at Hersheypark Stadium. Twenty One Pilots brought their Clancy Tour: Breach 2025 to Hershey to a packed stadium. Fans were decked out head to toe in gear from various eras of their career. Indie-pop band Dayglow opened the show. Sloan Struble (aka Dayglow) brought a breezy optimism that had fans swaying and smiling. His stage presence was fun and sincere. The setlist included “Can I Call You Tonight” and “Close to You”.

When Twenty One Pilots took the stage, the energy shifted into overdrive. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun wasted no time, launching into a set that spanned their career—from anthems like “Stressed Out” and “Ride” to deeper cuts and fan favorites that showcased the band’s musical range. The production was nothing short of spectacular, with dramatic lighting, pyrotechnics, and immersive visuals that kept the crowd engaged throughout.

One of the highlights came when Tyler made his way into the crowd, blurring the line between performer and audience, creating the kind of intimate connection that has made Twenty One Pilots so beloved. Josh’s thunderous drumming and tireless energy anchored the show, particularly during the now-traditional drum-off moments that brought fans to their feet.

The encore had the stadium roaring, closing out with “Car Radio” and “Trees,” songs that have become emotional, communal experiences at their shows. The entire audience sang in unison, a sea of lights raised into the night sky, giving Hersheypark Stadium an almost otherworldly glow.

In the end, Twenty One Pilots delivered a show that was equal parts concert, performance art, and cathartic release. Paired with Dayglow’s radiant opening set, the night was a celebration of music’s ability to unite and uplift. For fans in Hershey, it was an unforgettable evening with a band that continues to push the boundaries of live performance.

Sharon has been shooting music since the 80s. She started with local bands and worked her way up to becoming the house photographer for Hershey for many years. She also spent several years photographing the in-park entertainment at Hersheypark. At one point, she even had the opportunity to spend a few days on the road with Poison. Her photos were featured in their tour book as well as in the Flesh and Blood liner notes. Sharon has also been a photographer for Stars on Ice for the last six years, with her work appearing in their tour books, merchandise, and billboard campaigns. Sharon also has a passion for wildlife photography. The concept behind both concerts and wildlife is surprisingly similar — you need to know your subject, understand their habits, and be ready to anticipate the action. When she isn’t behind the camera, Sharon works as an IT Project Manager in the Harrisburg area.
