At the Wind Creek Events Center in Bethlehem, PA, a night of hard rock and metalcore echoed through the venue as the anticipated co-headlining tour of Three Days Grace and Chevelle, supported by Loathe, kicked off its very first performance. It wasn’t just a musical evening; it was an electrifying experience.
The night kicked off with the English heavy metal sensation, Loathe. Hailing from Liverpool, the band wove in captivating musical elements, mixing metalcore, nu metal, and experimental influences. Known for their unique style and diverse sounds, Loathe set the tone right, prepping fans for the intense musical journey ahead. And given their impressive accolades like nominations for the Heavy Metal Awards and Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2018, it’s no wonder they have such a compelling stage presence.
Chevelle, the hard rock prodigies from Chicago, took the stage next. With a mix of fan-loved hits and unexpected twists, they belted out tunes like “Verruckt,” “An Island,” and “Door to Door Cannibals,” among others. Their fervor and energy on stage didn’t just cater to the audience; it enthralled them. Formed in 1995 and having released eight albums, their legacy and prowess were evident.
Closing the night was the iconic Canadian rock band, Three Days Grace. Since their formation in 1992, originally as Groundswell, they’ve never failed to strike a chord with their fans. With power-packed renditions of hits like “Animal I Have Become,” “Home,” and “I Am The Weapon,” the band ensured fans were on their feet, singing along, and immersing themselves in the raw energy they brought.
The Three Days Grace & Chevelle co-headlining tour, graced by Loathe, was a spectacle of hard rock and metalcore. Bethlehem witnessed a concert that left an indelible mark on the hearts of attendees. If this stop is any indicator, it’s evident that fans nationwide are in for a treat. Don’t miss it!
