After a hiatus of over a decade, the iconic American rock band Creed is making a grand comeback with a 40-city North American tour in 2024. This reunion tour, aptly named the “Summer of ’99 Tour,” is set to kick off on July 17, 2024, in Green Bay, WI, and will run through September 28, 2024.
The band, known for its post-grunge sound and multi-platinum albums, will feature all four original members: Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall. This tour marks their first time hitting the road together since their split in 2004.
Before the tour, Creed will headline the “Summer of ’99 Cruise,” taking place from April 18-22, 2024, with a second cruise scheduled for the following weekend. These cruises, which sold out quickly, will serve as the band’s first shows together in 12 years.
The “Summer of ’99 Tour” will be supported by a stellar lineup of artists. 3 Doors Down will be the direct support for the majority of the tour, while Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, and Big Wreck will join Creed on select dates. Finger Eleven will open all dates on the reunion run.
In the middle of the tour, Creed will headline the inaugural “Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival” in San Bernardino, California. This festival will feature the openers from various legs of the tour and welcome a few other special guests.
Creed’s reunion has been met with excitement from fans, many of whom have been eagerly awaiting a full tour from the band5. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on November 3rd, 2023.
