Tristan Tritt Forges His Own Path And Challenges Social Media With New Single “No Filter”

LISTEN TO “NO FILTER” HERE

Rock singer-songwriter Tristan Tritt has released his new single “No Filter”. The new song follows his other 2023 release “Nervous System Overload.”

“No Filter” illuminates the dynamic of Tristan’s approach. On the track, clean guitar wraps around a glitchy beat. Simultaneously, he stretches his vocal range, fluttering between a laid back flow and breathy inflection. The momentum gives way to an infectious and impactful refrain punctuated by a fret-burning guitar lead.

Lyrically, “No Filter” questions the obsession many people have with social media. Tristan says, “So many of our interactions are based on vanity. In reality, who you are on social media is completely different from who you are in real life. There’s an actual filter in place, and we play the game by commenting and pretending. I think it’s not just damaging for kids, but adults who constantly scroll through social media without understanding the majority of what they’re looking at is artificial. I’m seeing beyond the façade.”

Tristan has been forging his own lane with his grunge-tinged hard rock sound. His influences range and are inspired by everything from Kid Cudi to Black Sabbath.

Tristan will be releasing more new music in 2024 and will announce new tour dates in the near future.
