The PPL Center in Allentown, PA, was electric on December 2, 2024, as Creed rolled into town on their Are You Ready? Tour. With the promise of nostalgia and hard-hitting rock anthems, fans packed the venue, ready to relive the glory days of the late ’90s and early 2000s. But before Creed took the stage, they were treated to a powerhouse lineup featuring Mammoth WVH and 3 Doors Down, setting the tone for a night that would be anything but forgettable.

Kicking off the evening was Mammoth WVH, led by Wolfgang Van Halen. Right from the start, it was clear that Wolfgang brought a vintage rock and roll vibe that transcended his studio recordings. His powerful vocals and guitar work were even more impressive live, capturing the essence of classic rock while infusing it with a fresh energy. Each note resonated with authenticity, and their performance of “Distance” showcased not just his technical prowess but also an emotional depth that had the audience hanging on every word. It was a standout performance that left many in the crowd wondering how they could have missed out on this talent before.

Next up was 3 Doors Down, who took the stage with a palpable energy that had the audience buzzing. Brad Arnold led the charge with their iconic hit “Kryptonite,” igniting a singalong that echoed throughout the arena. The band packed their hour-long set with the fan favorites “Here Without You” and “When I’m Gone,” each song met with loud roars of approval. Arnold’s heartfelt message about perseverance during tough times struck a chord, reinforcing the sense of community in the room.

Finally, it was time for the main event: Creed. As they took the stage, the energy in the PPL Center reached a fever pitch. Opening with “Bullets,” Scott Stapp’s powerful vocals captivated the audience from the get-go. The band’s setlist was a carefully curated journey through their greatest hits, including “Higher,” “What If,” and “One Last Breath.” Each song was met with enthusiastic singalongs, as fans relived memories tied to these anthems.

Stapp engaged with fans throughout the night, sharing personal stories about his journey and expressing genuine gratitude for their unwavering support. This connection transformed the concert into a shared experience that resonated deeply with everyone present.

As they wrapped up their exhilarating set with “One Last Breath” and “Sacrifice,” the band members tossed guitar picks, drumsticks, and paper airplane setlists into the crowd, creating a frenzy of excitement among their devoted fans. Taking their final bows, Stapp looked out over the sea of faces and delivered a heartfelt farewell: “Thank you so much Allentown. We are Creed. Goodnight. God Bless. And ROCK ON!” The crowd erupted in cheers, soaking in this final moment of connection and celebration, a fitting end to a night filled with powerful performances and shared memories.

As concertgoers filed out of the PPL Center, there was a palpable sense of joy in the air. Many were still singing snippets of songs as they relived their favorite moments from the night. For long-time fans, it was a reminder of why they fell in love with Creed in the first place; for newer listeners, it was an introduction to a band that has left an indelible mark on rock music.

Creed’s Are You Ready? Tour not only celebrated their past but also reaffirmed their place in today’s music scene. It was an unforgettable night filled with powerful performances, emotional connections, and a reminder that great music truly transcends time. As fans headed home under the glow of streetlights, it was clear that this concert would linger in their memories long after the last note had faded away.
