Papa Roach closed out the night on the deck stage on the first night of ShipRocked 2017.
Lead singer Jacoby Shaddix was full of energy from the time he stepped on the stage. They performed many of their hit songs including, “Still Swingin’,” “Gravity,” and “Face Everything and Rise.” During the set there were many surprises, including a guest appearance by Sonny Sandoval, lead singer of P.O.D. Together, Jacoby and Sonny performed a duet of “Last Resort” and the packed crowd loved every minute of it. At one point, Jacoby got personal with the audience and confessed that the song “Scars” was what saved their band. He then proceeded to do a heart-felt acoustic rendition of the song with guitarist Jerry Horton. For us at Rock Documented, this performance was the highlight of the week!
