latest LP, Machines is the first album under the name ““. The band was coaxed into officially forming by all their loyal gaming followers.

You can hear it in the songs and lyrics, they never lose touch with the exuberance and swagger they brought to the Gaming and Film music industry. can be described as Epic Rock with gnarly guitar licks, unexpected theatrical elements and powerful lyrics. They celebrate the underdog, lift up the fallen and balls out gloat in victory. It fits together perfectly and the songs are of the kind that get better with every listen and not only does it sound great but it is a lyrical masterpiece. Such lyrics from the song “We Shall Overcome” could be used anywhere especially with recent events. “We Shall Overcome, We shall not be silenced, We will rise as one, You can not deny us.”

Title track “Machines” was written with the fans in mind as they reached out to to say they were listening to them while playing the game “FALLOUT”. “Machines” is also the first music video from the album.

“Machines” starts with a wicked bass line and a double bass hit. Dan Murphy’s voice is a powerful up-front presence more striking then ever, with prominent electronics, edgy string arrangements and lancing guitar riffs. Track 5 “Break Through This Wall” has everything a rock song would want, with high-intensity hooks, shimmering counter-melodies adding to the over driven atmosphere. That said, he can still summon the fury of the Gods when necessary as seen in this song.

influences can be heard throughout the album, from AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, U2, Thousand Foot Krutch, Starset to MUSE. Their music backgrounds might hint at some Mutant Genre Hybrid, after performing with such a variety of musicians such as, Ringo Starr, Ian Gillan, Avril Lavigne and Britney Spears.

music seems to confront real life anxieties and transport you above the fallen world of theater itself. Dan Murphy’s vocals provide some eerie melodic vocal turns with powerful wailing of vocal fireworks.

is currently rehearsing for a show planned for March 30th at the Famous Whiskey A GoGo before they announce more shows throughout the US and Europe.

I might be the oldest reviewer at 57 y/o but, I don’t act it. I’ve always been a Rock & Roll man. In my younger days some of my favorite bands were, RUSH, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, ELP, Jeff Beck, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, Black Sabbath and many more. After seeing Ted Nugent live in Buffalo N.Y. in 1978, Cat Scratch Fever tour, I was hooked on the Rock & Roll bands. My ears haven’t stopped ringing since then, (Tinnitus).
