Black Label Society’s recorded catalog has been acquired by MNRK Music Group in a deal announced September 15. The agreement expands the company’s relationship with founder Zakk Wylde and includes plans to revisit the recordings through reissues and new catalog campaigns. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition covers 11 studio albums, alongside live recordings, compilations, EPs and Wylde’s solo work. Albums named in the announcement include Stronger Than Death, 1919 Eternal, The Blessed Hellride and Order Of The Black. The package also includes Unblackened, Black Label Society’s largely acoustic live release from 2013, extending the collection beyond the band’s studio recordings.
There is a distinction between the catalog being purchased and the band’s full discography. Music Business Worldwide reports that Engines Of Demolition, Black Label Society’s twelfth studio album, is outside the acquisition. That record was released March 27, 2026.
MNRK’s connection to the band predates its current name. Order Of The Black arrived through the company’s earlier eOne operation in 2010, and eOne Music became MNRK Music Group in September 2021. The purchase therefore deepens an existing working relationship between Wylde and the company that has handled releases from his catalog.
“Zakk has been part of the MNRK family for many years, and this deal reflects the strength of that relationship,” president and CEO Sean Stevenson said in the announcement, as reported by Music Week. Stevenson described ownership of the recordings as the next stage of that partnership, with the company looking to expand the catalog’s audience.
The acquisition follows another investment in heavy music. MNRK purchased Prosthetic Records in June 2025, placing the label and its catalog under MNRK Heavy. That agreement included plans for physical releases and catalog projects alongside new music from the label’s artists.
For Black Label Society, MNRK’s stated priorities include reissues, streaming promotion, vinyl and additional formats. MNRK Heavy senior vice president Scott Givens pointed to reaching new listeners while continuing to serve the band’s established audience. Specific reissue titles and release dates have not been announced. Wylde will remain involved in determining how the recordings are presented as those projects develop.
