Alter Bridge have released a music video built around concert footage for “Tested and Able.” The clip arrived on October 6, 2026, ahead of the band’s final US leg of the What Lies Within Tour, which begins in November.
The song gives Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy distinct turns at the microphone, with Tremonti singing the verses and Kennedy taking the choruses. On “Trust in Me,” another track from the same album, they reverse those roles. Both songs feature on Alter Bridge, the band’s eighth studio album, released January 9 through Napalm Records.
Kennedy, Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips recorded the album with longtime producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette. Sessions took place over two months in spring 2025, split between 5150 in California and Baskette’s studio in Florida. The record followed 2022’s Pawns & Kings.
The next US stretch covers 18 cities, starting November 5 in Philadelphia and ending December 5 in Reno. Big Wreck and Tim Montana are billed as special guests, with support varying by date. Tickets for the What Lies Within Tour are available through Alter Bridge’s official website.
