Since this is the first North American tour ever performed by these South African-raised punk rock sisters, I feel pretty sure this may be an introduction for most of you reading this. So here is a short back story.

French-born sisters Noemie Debray (Mie) and Camille Debray (Mille) began their musical journey as street artists at ages 8 and 9 in Cape Town. It is here that they came to be known as “The SoapGirls” as they would sing while selling hand made soap for charity. Fast forward 6 years and the sisters found themselves signed to Universal Records, recording their first full length album Xperience in 2011 which hit number 1 in South African charts.

Once the Universal Records contract was up, The SoapGirls went independent and have released 4 more full length albums including June 18th, 2022’s release In My Skin. Cliff-notes over.

Thursday, August 25th Mie & Mille brought their Don’t Give A Damn Tour 2022 to Lovedraft’s Brewing Company in Mechanicsburg, PA. The event was presented by 717 Entertainment and produced some of our favorite photos ever taken. To say these ladies know how to rock is an understatement. PUNK ROCK ISN’T DEAD.
