The Offspring guitarist Noodles is stepping away from live performances because of a health issue, while the rest of the band will continue playing. In a statement shared on the band’s Instagram on October 21, 2026, he described the problem as “sudden and fairly serious.”
Noodles said he needed time away from performing and expressed sadness about missing shows. He did not identify the condition or give a timetable for his return.
His message emphasized the support of his bandmates and made clear that they intend to keep performing during his absence. The statement did not name a guitarist who would cover his parts or specify which appearances he expects to miss.
“I hope to be back on stage sooner rather than later,” Noodles wrote. “Until then, I will miss all of you with all of my heart.”
He closed by thanking fans for keeping him in their thoughts.
