Stone Sour have recorded “Full Of Empty” with the lineup behind Audio Secrecy, bringing Corey Taylor, Jim Root and Josh Rand back to material written during the original album sessions. Taylor contributed new lyrics and vocals, while Root and Rand recorded new guitar parts for the previously unreleased song.
The track will appear on Audio Secrecy (15th Anniversary Edition), arriving November 20, 2026. Listed as “Full Of Empty (2026 Version),” it connects a song from the band’s third album sessions with fresh performances from the musicians who made that record. Audio Secrecy originally arrived in 2010 and included “Say You’ll Haunt Me,” “Hesitate” and “Digital (Did You Tell).”
The expanded release also revisits songs that made it onto the album. Its 3CD edition includes “Hesitate” in demo form and in a version with strings, while “Anna” appears with its original lyrics. Those alternate recordings give listeners specific changes to follow across the sessions, from lyrics to arrangements. “Saturday Mourning (2026 Mix)” joins the additional material, and the set includes new liner notes by Ryan J. Downey.
Across the three discs, the collection moves from the remastered album and bonus tracks into demos and rough mixes before reaching a complete concert from the 2010 Audio Secrecy tour. Recorded at Brighton Centre in Brighton, England, the previously unreleased performance includes “Mission Statement,” “Say You’ll Haunt Me” and “Digital (Did You Tell),” alongside “Bother” and “Through Glass.”
The vinyl editions offer a smaller selection of extras. Their fourth side pairs “Full Of Empty (2026 Version)” with “Saturday Mourning (2026 Mix),” “The Pessimist” and “Hesitate (Demo with Strings).” The full Brighton concert and broader demo collection are included in the 3CD edition.
Preorders are open through Stone Sour’s official release page, with an artist store exclusive clear smoke 2LP edition, standard black vinyl, the expanded and remastered 3CD box set, and a digital release.
