The HU Lead the Charge With “Warrior Chant” Video

The HU have released the official music video for “Warrior Chant,” the opening track from their third studio album, 'HUN.'

The song was originally released alongside “The Men” through Better Noise Music in March. “Warrior Chant” later opened 'HUN' when the eleven track album arrived on July 24.

“Warrior Chant” draws heavily from the Mongolian group’s established Hunnu rock identity, combining modern metal with throat singing, traditional rhythms and the morin khuur.

Galaa explained when the track was first released that it “has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with.” He and Enkush shaped the morin khuur solos around the rhythm of a horse’s gait, allowing that movement to run through the song.

'HUN' follows the band’s 2022 studio album, 'Rumble Of Thunder.' Its track list also includes “The Men,” “The Real You,” “Grey Hun” and “Lost Soul,” which features Nothing More vocalist Jonny Hawkins on the digital edition.

The album arrived during an extensive touring year for The HU. The group joined Iron Maiden at Knebworth in July before beginning its current North American run with Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and Orgy.

That tour continues through September 20 in Concord, California. The HU will then launch their largest UK and European headline tour to date on September 29 at the O2 Academy Glasgow.

SKÁLD will appear as the special guest throughout the headline run. The itinerary continues through the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe before concluding October 31 at Rockhal in Luxembourg.
