DIAMANTE sets January release for third album ‘Supernova’

1 min read

DIAMANTE has announced Supernova, her third album and first for Sumerian Records, for January 8, 2027. The announcement comes with “Hollywood Blvd,” a new single that places the question of personal identity at the center of her pursuit of success.

Released October 20, the song’s refrain cautions against sacrificing yourself to get ahead. Its Hollywood setting gives that warning a specific backdrop, with the lyrics asking how far someone should go for a dream and what they risk losing along the way. Sumerian has released an official visualizer alongside the track.

That concern also runs through DIAMANTE’s description of the larger record. “This record is the most honest thing I’ve ever made,” she wrote in her album announcement on social media. She identified devotion, art, obsession, love and identity among its subjects. Across 14 tracks, Supernova explores ambition and relationships alongside the pressure to become someone else.

Listeners have already heard several pieces of that story. “1987,” “All For The Glory,” “Silver Bullet,” “Bite of the Beast” and “Cool Down” join “Hollywood Blvd” on the album. The sequence opens with “1987” and closes with the title track, collecting songs released across several years into one record.

“All For The Glory” accompanied the announcement of her Sumerian signing in August 2024. At the time, DIAMANTE explained that she had written it as encouragement to keep working through setbacks and other people’s doubts. She also connected the song to the sacrifices required by her ambitions. With “Hollywood Blvd,” the emphasis shifts toward protecting the person doing that work, giving the two songs different perspectives on the same pursuit.

The move to Sumerian followed her 2018 debut, Coming in Hot, and 2021’s American Dream. Although Supernova marks her first album for the label, the partnership has already included an extended run of singles. “All For The Glory” arrived in 2024, followed by “Silver Bullet” in 2025, before the releases that continued through 2026.

The album announcement now gives those songs a release date and a place alongside material including “Diamonds & Roses,” “Cry Wolf” and “Mirror, Mirror.” Preorders and digital presaves are available through DIAMANTE’s official album page, with vinyl and CD editions listed for release.
