Up-and-coming metalcore band Wind Walkers have been quickly making a name for themselves in the scene, touring with bands such as Dayseeker and Memphis May Fire in the past two years. On October 3, 2025, the band released their latest EP, I Don’t Belong Here, via Fearless Records, and has been on an upward rise ever since. To celebrate, the band embarked on their first full North American headlining tour, starting on September 10 in Albany, NY, and concluding with two nights in the band’s hometown of Worcester, MA, on October 17 and 18.

In the final stretch of the tour, the band stopped at Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia on October 16, 2026. Not only was it one of the biggest venues of the tour, but the show was also sold out, making it what the band described onstage as Wind Walkers’ biggest headlining show yet.

Kicking off the night was pop-rock band True North. The band opened with the track “Burn” from their most recent album Either Way, The Sun’s Exploding. True North blends catchy choruses and energetic melodies with thrilling rock instrumentals, which can convince anyone to get off their feet and dance. The band immediately got the crowd hooked, with fans jumping and singing along.

Closing with their track “Save Me” from their 2022 debut album Out Loud, the band got the entire room to sing along to the chorus, the words “I thought that you could save me” echoing through the venue. As the first band of the night, True North successfully warmed up the crowd for the rest of the night.

The second opener to take the stage was rising metalcore band If Not For Me. For the Harrisburg, PA, band, this show in Philadelphia was the closest thing to a hometown show on this tour, making this a significant night for them. The band released their newest album Where The Light Begins To Fade via Thriller Records on August 14, 2026, their first full-length album since 2024’s Everything You Wanted.

The band opened with two singles from the new album, the high-octane “Retrograde” and “Broken Throne.” The fans were already jumping and headbanging along, and even a few crowdsurfers started making their way through the room. The band then slowed things down a bit with “Novocaine,” another single from Where The Light Begins To Fade, and the venue lit up with phone flashlights as vocalist Patty Glover jumped down to the barricade to sing with the fans. Throughout the rest of the set, the energy in the crowd kept ramping up as the mosh pit continued to grow and fans kept crowdsurfing one after another.

Towards the end of their set, If Not For Me performed their new hit “Lie Awake” featuring Wind Walkers’ Trevor Borg, who joined the band onstage for his verses, which had the venue erupting in cheers. The band closed their set with their breakthrough hit “Feel Me Now,” which received constant crowdsurfers and had the pit moving until the very last note. With enthusiasm that never died down for a moment, Philadelphia fans made sure to make If Not For Me’s hometown-adjacent show a night to remember.

At around 9:15 p.m., the venue lights began to dim for the final time that night, as the light fixtures on the stage started to shine a bright red. An instrumental intro began playing over the speakers, raising the anticipation among the fans. Soon enough, Wind Walkers entered the stage as the venue filled with cheers.

The band opened with the haunting “Feeding the Gods” from their 2023 album What If I Break?, and the energy within the room was palpable. Fans at the barricade were screaming along to the lyrics while other fans jumped along and crowdsurfed. The band continued with songs from What If I Break?, “Drowning Hymns” and “Dead Talk,” before going into “The End Aesthetic,” a catchy, dance-worthy track from I Don’t Belong Here.

Wind Walkers brings a unique form of rock to the scene, so it’s no wonder that they are on an upward rise. The band refuses to be stuck to one genre, seamlessly blending metal breakdowns within catchy pop-rock tracks. No two Wind Walkers songs sound the same, but they all manage to get any listener to jump and dance.

From the grand, soaring melodies of “Sink Into Me” to the electronically influenced breakdown of “Silk & Static,” the fans never showed any signs of slowing down, continuing to jump and crowdsurf. The crowd engagement was also a memorable moment of the night, with the fans lighting up the room with their phone flashlights for a song, and clapping along to the rhythms of “Eating My Heart Out” and “Hereditary.”

After performing much of I Don’t Belong Here, Wind Walkers closed their initial set with a few older tracks, such as “The Overlook” and “Losing My Color,” which inspired some of the most crowdsurfers of the night. As they performed their 2023 track “The Bends,” crowdsurfers made their way through the room in record numbers, proving that Philly still had more than enough energy left.

The band briefly left the stage as the fans started chanting for an encore. Soon enough, Wind Walkers returned to the stage, performing the fan favorites “Bodybag” and “Hangfire,” and also thanked Philly for making this the biggest headlining show of their career. The fans never stopped moving for a moment, moshing and crowdsurfing until the very end. Such a milestone show instantly became a night to remember for both the band and the fans.
