SAVAGE AFTER MIDNIGHT RELEASE 11:59

1 min read

Savage After Midnight has recently received a lot of attention and airplay on notable stations like SiriusXM Octane for their single “10 Feet Tall.”  It’s no wonder! The feeling of optimism and empowerment shine through brightly. It is also both catchy and anthemic; no doubt a crowd pleaser live.

“10 Feet Tall” is one of five from the EP 11:59 released on March 8, 2019.  This EP was years in the making by this group from Memphis, Tennessee.  Although they have been together since 2009, they had to overcome many obstacles in order to finally land with producer, John Falls (Egypt Central), and RED Music/The Century Family.  Their determination has brought them here with a solid sampling of legitimate rock and roll ready for consumption by the masses.

Track one, “Unleash,” is a commanding sing-a-long showing off the melodic and growling dexterity of lead singer, Shi Eubanks.  He takes us up and down with a story of how anything is possible and nothing is holding us back. “Heartless Machine” slows us down, just a little.  This is a mature song that makes you think and appreciate those who serve.

The last two tracks, “King” and “Overrated” are diverse and deal with completely different subject matters.  11:59 is a short sampling of the variety of lyrical content and style that these rockers are prepared to provide us.   Their name gives us a glimmer of their “work hard by day, rock harder by night” ethos. They want to, and intend to, tear it up after midnight.  More songs are ready in anticipation for another EP coming later this year or early 2020.

Savage After Midnight is:

Shi Eubanks-Vocals

Jeremiah Lipscomb-Guitars

James “JT” Thomas-Keyboards, Vocals

Landon Fox-Bass

Zack Pete-Drums

The guys just finished touring with Memphis May Fire and He Is Legend.  They have also previously toured with Shinedown and Sick Puppies. Look for them and prime yourself to get savage after 11:59.

Heavy and Metal have been my preferred genre as long as I can remember. Lucky for me I live in the LA area where lots of bands start their career playing at such world famous venues as the Whiskey and the Roxy. I often visit those venues to check out new and sometimes not so new bands. I have been known to travel to festivals all over the US to spend time with my rock and roll family. Music is my addiction and I will go far and often to get my fix.
