From Ashes to New have released “Love Me” and its official music video, opening the next stage of their Reflections album cycle. The single arrived September 25 through Better Noise Music alongside news that a deluxe edition of the album will follow on November 13, 2026.
Vocalist Matt Brandyberry describes the song as the aftermath of someone disappearing when they were needed most. “‘Love Me’ is about that person who was supposed to be there for you, but they completely vanish, essentially becoming a ghost,” he said in the announcement. He describes memories that remain so vivid they feel physical, leaving someone reaching for a person who is no longer there. The song’s central struggle, in his account, is how that remembered closeness can become something they cannot escape.
Listeners first had a chance to hear the track through SiriusXM Octane, which scheduled its exclusive radio premiere for September 24. The wider release and video followed the next day, with the clip appearing on Better Noise Music’s official YouTube channel.
The expanded Reflections retains the original album’s 12 tracks and adds four recordings. Alongside “Love Me” are “After Death” and separate versions of “Die For You” featuring Neoni and The Midnight. The Neoni collaboration was released in August, while the original “Die For You” remains in the album’s running order. That gives the deluxe edition three versions of the song, with each guest collaboration listed as its own track.
The original Reflections arrived April 17 as the band’s fifth studio album, following a substantial rethink of the material they had prepared. By late 2023, From Ashes to New had demos for 16 songs, but ultimately kept only two and started again. That broke with their usual approach of entering the studio with a set batch of songs and finishing those recordings, perhaps with one or two left over.
“I wanted to take what we are good at and push it even further,” Brandyberry said in the album’s original announcement. The band wanted to retain the elements that defined their earlier work while moving further into alternative metal. The resulting record followed 2023’s Blackout, and its new expanded edition pairs the full album with additional songs and guest interpretations.
Presaves for the deluxe edition are available. Before its release, From Ashes to New have another announcement scheduled for October 6, when they are set to reveal their 2027 plans.
