Rise Against and Alkaline Trio Fill The Rave with Punk Rock Energy

1 min read

The sold-out show at The Rave’s Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee on October 10, 2026, was a night full of loud music, jumping fans, and nonstop singalongs. Teen Mortgage opened the show in the Eagles Ballroom and got the crowd moving, setting the tone for an exciting night. The room was full of excitement, and the energy kept building for Alkaline Trio and headliners Rise Against.

Once Alkaline Trio took the stage, it was full-on energy in the crowd for the rest of the night, and everyone was totally into them. Alkaline Trio brought catchy songs, driving guitar riffs, and bouncy beats that had the crowd moving. It was awesome seeing the people around me singing along and getting caught up in the music. The energy made it hard to stand still, and every song gave the crowd another reason to jump around and have fun. The beats with that bouncy bass drum feeling just kept the crowd jumping.

When Rise Against took the stage, the energy went up another level. Their fast guitars, pounding drums, and powerful choruses had the whole room singing along. One of the best parts was looking around and seeing so many people shouting out the lyrics together. Hearing those songs live with a huge crowd made them feel even bigger and more exciting.

I really enjoyed the moments when familiar choruses kicked in and everyone around me started singing at the top of their lungs to the catchy lyrics. It’s hard to describe the feeling of being surrounded by people who are so into the bands on the lineup. This night was a step up from many recent concerts I’ve been to in terms of crowd interaction. Between the jumping, loud guitars, and voices filling the room, it was easy to forget about everything else and just enjoy the moment.

Here’s Rise Against’s official video for “Savior.”

With Teen Mortgage opening and Alkaline Trio and Rise Against keeping the energy high, the night had everything I love about punk rock. The sold-out Eagles Ballroom was full of life, and the crowd helped make the show feel special from start to finish.

Overall, it was a loud, fun night filled with great music and plenty of singalongs. Shows like this remind me why I love concerts so much. It’s not just about seeing your favorite bands live. It’s about the energy, the people, and those moments when the entire room feels connected through the music.

As a lover of both music and photography, it's great to be able to mix the two of them together. I love the excitement and the in the moment of concert photography. I'm also a portrait photographer and have been doing photography professionally since the beginning of 2020. Equipment I use are the Canon R6 and R6 Mark II along with a 24-70mm and a 70-200mm both f2.8 as my main lenses. I also have long lenses for soundboard shoots along with various fixed focal length lenses. I cover Wisconsin shows with Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay as my main focus. I am available for hire in Wisconsin for any bands in need of a photographer, concerts or promotional photos.
